Todd Hollenbach has a distinguished record of public service that includes his current position as a Commissioner with the Kentucky Commission on Human Rights. As a Commissioner, Hollenbach has worked diligently to insure that the rights of all Kentuckians are protected regardless of race, religion, age or gender. His reputation for fair dealing and hard work earned him a position on the bi-partisan Blue Ribbon Commission convened to investigate the Merit Hiring System. The Kentucky State Treasurer is the chief elected financial officer of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and serves on important boards dealing with state investments, teachers retirement, college savings plans and the Kentucky Lottery. The Office of the State Treasury functions as the clearinghouse for revenues flowing into state government and is responsible for processing billions of dollars in checks and cash annually. As Treasurer, Todd Hollenbach will work to streamline internal accounting procedures, modernize office technology and improve customer service. In addition, Hollenbach will push legislative and educational initiatives to crackdown on predatory lending practices and to better prepare Kentuckians to safeguard their own financial interests. |
